About us
The RIPPL Acting Undivided Master Programme aims at training actors and actresses who, with the acquired knowledge and complex practical skills, are capable of performing at a high level in theatre workshops, film and television productions, radio broadcasting and film dubbing. The teachers working in our MA programme are nationally and internationally renowned actors and actresses, theatre and film professionals. The theatrical internships are carried out at various partner institutions, in renowned theatres in Hungary, in a so-called cooperative training programme.
The curriculum of our training programme is based on traditional prose and musical acting, but in addition to practical skills in rhythm and form, movement, speech and singing, the training also offers the opportunity to learn specialised acting practices, including film, radio, dubbing and acrobatics. Theoretical knowledge covers the broadest spectrum of theatre and drama history, but also provides an understanding of historical and contemporary trends in the visual arts (art and film history). Our graduates are prepared to continue their studies at doctoral level.
For applicants
Theatre is "three wooden planks, two actors and a common passion" that binds us all together. We are inviting you to discover a universal artistic language, to learn about the practical side of theatre, to develop your skills and to unleash your potential. All this in a welcoming, open and accepting atmosphere, where theatre, film and art theory, movement, dance, acrobatics, music and speech classes, workshops, festival and theatre performances, field trips abroad make your days colourful and exhausting at the same time. So that you can stand on those wooden planks or on the movie screen with the passion that brought you here.
